Information: I bought 4 packs of these razors when I was couponing, so they cost me each $1.  I was super excited to get some good disposable razors that have movable heads because I get a better shave with the movable heads.  The only problem is that these razors don't even shave off your leg hair.  I opened 1 package, and used each of the 4 razors but no hair came off.  They just didn't work.  I used shaving cream, and soap, and bath gel but nothing worked.  I was so disappointed.

Details: The book "Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Type" and a play set with a barn that opens up and holds 2 cows, a pig, a cat, a goat, the goose, and Farmer Brown.  Children can read, or listen while playing with the stand up farm and animals.

Information:  My 2 year old got this for Christmas and just loves it. Its a great on the go toy, for traveling because the pieces are big enough you can't loose them easily, and they're strong enough they can't tear, and everything fits inside the barn, and the book is attached to the front.  My 4 year old loves it too.  Borders sells this for $17.50.  You can also buy this at Seagull book store for around $15.  But Amazon.com sells it for $11.24.

Dino Chicken nuggets

Details: breaded dinosaur shaped chicken breast patties with rib meat.  Product of Canada.  700 mg Omega-3 per serving, these come from flax and canola oils.  Good source of iron.  Comes in packages of 2 lbs, and 5 lbs.  Made with only white chicken meat, no trans fats, child nutrition programs, fully cooked microwaveable.  Four different ways to heat these up: microwave, oven, fryer, toaster oven.  No hormones!

Information: for a family of 4 people including 2 little kids, we had about 3 meals out of this as a family, and 3 snacks for 4 little kids.  So in total this 5 lbs box lasted us about 4 weeks.  These are really yummy chicken nuggets.  They aren't like Chic-Fil-A chicken nuggets, but more like Wendy's and Arby's chicken nuggets.  They aren't the healthiest choice for food, but when it comes to something quick and easy and filling, these are an excellent choice.  These are super easy to put into a good healthy dinner, with steamed broccoli, carrots, some rice, and ranch dressing.

Oral-B Electric Toothbrush

Details: Oral-B Vitality, rechargeable toothbrush, duel clean, removes more plaque than a regular manual toothbrush, twice the cleaning action.  Comes with 1 handle, 2 heads, 1 charger.  Oral-B has interchangeable heads, and each head has specific actions like precision clean, pro-white, sensitive, and floss action.  Dentists recommend that you change your toothbrush/ or head every 3 months.

Information: I bought this tooth brush for my husband for Christmas.  This is a wonderful investment!  He loves the clean feel that lasts for hours after he brushes, he loves that it has a timer that helps him know just how long he needs to be brushing each area of the mouth.  It takes 16 hours to charge the tooth brush, but you can leave it plugged in daily and it will have enough charge and more to give you the best feeling brush you've had.

* My husband has asked for professional tooth paste, so we use Crest Pro Health, whitening, Crest Pro Health enamel protection, and Crest Pro Health night time and Crest Pro Health day time tooth paste.  We also use Crest Pro Health mouth wash.

Information:  My husband bought this phone for me for Christmas.  I was really worried because his Verizon Android is really confusing for me.  But this phone has a super easy set up, menu, and really easy to use!  I'm very impressed with how easy it is, I could figure a lot of the set up, and everything on my own.  This is super sturdy in design.  I love the slide out key pad!  I'm still figuring out how to get more and better background images, but I love being able to use the camera, and video camcord.  I love being able to get right into my email, facebook, and twitter accounts and see what's going on because I have unlimited data.  I highly recommend this phone if you are new to smart phones, aren't sure of how well you would like a smart phone, and if you want something that is super easy to use!

*Now the cool thing about Androids is that they can go with pretty much any service, so I'm with straight talk.  I pay $45 a month for unlimited talk, unlimited text, unlimited mobile web access, and unlimited 411 calls.  The phone cost $245 on sale at Walmart.  Here is the link to Amazon.com: Android LG Optimus Q

Acai Berry 14 Day Cleanse

Details: Acai Berry 14 day cleanse/ flush with 56 tablets.  This cleanse helps flush away pounds of backed-up matter clogging your digestive system.  This will help reduce bloating, and help flatten abdomen, and help with regularity.  This contains the following herbs: Cascara Sagrada, Slippery Elm and Ginger.  This also contains natural caffeine.  This has a tiny printed warning that comes from the State of California.  The warning says that it could cause deformed babies or other reproduction harm. 

Information:  I bought this about a year ago, and after reading the warning from the State of California I didn't want to risk any birth defects and harm to myself or any future children we may have.  So I let my husband take this.  He didn't have an allergic reaction which after trying 2 other products this was a really good sign.  However, he didn't notice any change, only that he did have more regular bowel movements, but no flatter abdomen, no reduced bloating, and he didn't feel healthier.  Granted it was only a 14 day cleanse and that doesn't usually mean results, but this said you would see and feel results within those two weeks, so it was really surprising that it didn't work.  I don't recommend this product.

Details: 20% daily value of fiber.  Contains wheat, egg, soy, milk, peanut and sesame ingredients.   Comes in packages of 24 and 38 individually wrapped brownies.  90 calories per serving, one serving is one brownie.

Information: Okay so we bought these because we were looking for something healthy, something that would last a while, and something that wasn't very expensive.  We were a little worried that these would be dry, not very good tasting, and not filling as a snack for in between meals.  But after using these for just 1 week we're so impressed with how good these taste.  So here is what we do, to help our metabolism we eat 6 smaller meals a day.  We eat about every 2-3 hours.  We eat 1brownie a day, after breakfast and before lunch.  It holds us each over for 2 hours.  I recommend this product for a healthier snack, with low calories, good tasting, and filling.

Clogged Drains?

Here is my clogged drain tip I learned from a friend years ago.  This works for tubs, bathroom sinks, kitchen sinks (but not the disposal side).  I have been using this tip for 6 years.  This also doesn't work for tubs with water jets.

What you need:

1 quart-1 gallon of real bleach (not Dollar Tree bleach, its not strong enough)

1 giant pot of boiling water

Pour your bleach down the drain and let sit for 15 minutes.  After 15 minutes pour your boiling water down the drain.  Please be careful 5 years ago I was getting ready to pour the boiling water down my tub drain, when I slipped on my floor towel and ended up burning my hand pretty bad.

After being very disappointed with the Julian Michael's 14 day weight loss program, I found this product at Wal-Mart for $10 to buy 60 capsules, then I found on Amazon.com that I could get a larger quantity for a better price.

Details: 60 capsules, dietary supplement.  Helps control carbs, helps metabolize fat, support weight loss, dietary supplement.  Take 2 capsules before a starch containing meal, 2 times a day.  No more than 4 capsules a day.  Includes Phase 2 Carb controller complex which is (white kidney bean extract, calcium, chromium).  Does not include caffeine extract of any kind, does not include green tea extract.  No wheat, corn, milk, egg, soy, glutens, sugar, artificial colors or flavors.

Information: I have been taking this for 9 months.  I love it.  When I started taking this the first 3 months I lost my water weight which was about 10 lbs.  Since then I have been able to maintain a consistant weight, at an ideal weight, though I still have to loose about 15 pounds of baby fat.  I have remained at the same weight being able to burn fat, and add muscle without having to make major changes to my food, and my wardrobe.  As I eat healthier food, and exercise more I'm burning the fat, not just loosing water weight.  That is one of the nice things about this product, is that it allows me to burn fat easier, after I've lost my water weight.  I highly recommend this, as a boost for your New Year's resolutions, and to give you a boost at getting healthy.

Okay so to start I just want to say that since I was between the ages of 8 and 10 I learned to hate taking any type of swallow-able pill, vitamin, medicine etc.  They always seemed to get stuck in my throat no matter how much liquid I dumped down my esophagus, and I always got sick from them no matter how much food I would eat right before and right after taking them.  So my rating is hugely important to this product because I've hated products like this for almost 18 years now.

Information:  First of all after giving birth to 2 children, I have tried 4 different prenatal vitamins, and these are the best I've found in 5 years of being a mother.  I've tried  prescription vitamins that made me sick, gummy vitamins that tasted so good, and super stinky vitamins that I could barely swallow.  But these are super easy to swallow, they smell like strawberry, and have no strong after tastes.  Even the Omega 3's aren't too strong so that I end up tasting them when I burp.  After 3 days of taking these I already had a clearer mind, I could think better and concentrate, I wasn't forgetting things like I was, (meaning no more Mommy Brain), my skin felt better, my body felt better.  I could work out with more endurance.  I started taking these even though I wasn't pregnant, and wasn't planning to get pregnant for a while, but I needed to get healthier and this is a great product!  I highly recommend this!

Information:  I love these, though wish there were more colors.  They are super thick which is great of winter time.  They hide your unshaved legs, and are silky smooth.  Matt finish, not shiny.  I have both the black and the brown pairs, and they last a very long time.  They don't run as easy, and are very comfortable.  I highly recommend this product!

Pillsbury Sugar Cookies

Details: Value size! 30 oz tube of refrigerated cookie dough.  Cooking options for classic sugar cookies or Holiday Star cookies in just 3 Ingredients!  Comes with pictures of what your cookies should look like when done cooking.  Don't microwave, and don't eat the raw dough.

Information:  Ok so I'm using this dough right now as I'm writing this post.  I followed the directions for the higher altitude cooking instructions, and chose to make the Holiday shapes.  But following the directions exact my cookies are coming out like blobs, not stars, trees, snowmen, and candy canes.  This is really frustrating.  I have made Christmas cookies before, and have made Pillsbury cookies before, but these look awful!  They still taste good, but I really wanted the cute shapes to come through. They just spread out too much, and end up super thin.  I made half my dough the 1/4 inch it says in the instructions, and then I made the other half thicker to see if that helped, but nope everything is super blobby.  This dough is only good if you are making circles.  Do not use shapes because they don't turn out.  I'm hoping frosting will help them look better.  I'm very disappointed in this product.

Nuk Sippy Cups

Details: $2.50-$2.00 at Walmart.  Comes in loads of colors both the lids and the bottles are colored.  They have clear rubbery nipples with slots instead of round holes to let out the liquid.  They say these are non-spill-able. You buy these in packs of 1.

Information:  I have used these are 3 different times during my 5 years of being a mother.  Every time I buy them I had forgotten that these really do leak and spill.  If you put the lids on too tight they leak.  If you wash the lids but especially the nipples in the dishwasher they leak.  If you use a bottle scrubby they tear the rubber nipples and make them leak too.  Kids love them because they are so bright and colorful, but they aren't worth the money, and head ache of cleaning up spills all the time.  I am unhappy with these. I do not recommend these at all.  There are better Nuk products out there.

 These NUK sippy cups are the best on the market that I have found.  They don't leak, they don't spill, they are easy to clean, and can be washed in the dish washer.  They also come in lots of fun colors, and change color when you add ice to your liquid.  You can buy these in packs of 2 or packs of 1.  I highly recommend this.

Dove Ultimate Deodorant

Details: Dove Ultimate beauty care, light radiance with moisturizers.  Soothes shaving irritation and helps replenish delicate underarm skin.  24 hour protection.

Information:  I just got a sample of this from my husband's hair salon. I've been using it for 3 days now, and have already noticed a difference.  I don't usually use Dove products because I get rashes and hives from their products, but this hasn't given me any rashes, and no hives!  The deodorant is cream colored and more creamy than normal deodorant that I've used (like Lady Speed).  This feels like you are putting on instant dry lotion on your underarms.  I usually get razor burn in the winter time because I use cheap razors, but this keeps my skin from being irritated when I shave.  I love this product and the pricing from Amazon.com is amazing!

Birds Eye Garlic Chicken

Details: pasta and grilled seasoned white chicken with broccoli florets, carrots and corn in a garlic sauce.  This is a flash frozen meal.  Comes in 3 lbs bags at Costco, for around $8 a bag.  Resealable bag if you only want to cook a little bit at a time.  Two ways to cook the food, either full bag or half bag cooking instruction.  Does contain wheat, soy and milk.

Information:  I bought this as a quick and easy way to make meals during the crazy schedule the Holiday season gives us.  Do follow the instructions as how much water is added, otherwise it comes out soggy, and the seasoning and sauce gets washed off while cooking.  My husband loves this stuff.  I can't get him to eat broccoli at all, no matter what way I cook it.  But this broccoli is so soft and fresh at the same time that he eats it up without complaints.  My picky children eat this all without just picking out the pieces of mixture they like.  This is a great pot luck meal, Holiday dinner, this can be a new family tradition.  I cooked it in the microwave, and when I actually followed the directions it came out yummy, not soggy, and well perfect!  I even cooked it in a thick plastic bowl and it didn't burn my bowl.

Details: The website for sports/concert/theater tickets and great prices, for great seats, and for the best performances.  Clean set up website, user friendly.  They have a Help Desk where you can phone, email, or live chat to get the help you need.  Then there is a Contact Us tab for inquiries.  There is a blog tab that isn't updated very often.  The left side bar with the quick links is very informative.  You can click on concerts, and search by performer, by type of concert, and then you get to see the recent news on that concert, and performer.  For sports tickets they have the games separated by Eastern and Western regions, and then separated by the different teams that are playing each other.

Information: The second best thing about this company is their tab labeled City Guides.  This is one of the coolest things I've seen.  There is a map of the USA and you can click on your state, then your city to see what's going on around you, around your family, and friends so you can buy tickets for yourself, your family, and your friends, where they live, where they are visiting etc.  The third coolest thing about this website is that you can pass on quick links to family, friends, neighbors, and fellow sports/play/concert fans about specific events that are happening.  Being able to see the individual, team, performer, concert, program, genres of plays, you have everything you need at the tip of your fingers.  How simple and easy!  Thanks Ticketamerica.com!

Information:  I bought these from Costco for $6 on sale, but looking at the pricing that Amazon.com offers, it'd be better to buy these in bulk every 3 months or so.  My husband loves these even though they have flax.  My kids love the yummy seasoning, and especially love to dip these chips.  I bought a 1 lbs bag of chips from Costco, where as Amazon.com offers 3 lbs bags in packs of 3.  If you love tortilla chips, and love dip, try these with Tostitos Monterey Jack Queso Medium hotness, and Tostitos Salsa Con Queso Medium hotness.  Ranch chip dip is okay with it, my husband loves Ranch dip so much he has to try all chips in it.

Her Minor Thing DVD

Details: Starring:  Estella Warren, Christian Kane, Rachel Dratch and Michael Weatherly .  Romance comedy, 2005.  PG-13 for sexual content.  The only IT woman working for the local fire department, sneezes 3 times and crashes her car into her true love's car.  After dating for a while she plans a romantic get away on a beautiful cruise, where she will make sweet love to her wonderful famous boyfriend.  But something goes horribly wrong when her deepest secret creeps him out, at the same time his boss decides to teach him a lesson that ends up...well...spilling more than just beans.

Information:  This was an if-y movie from the start, but the plot sounded so intriguing we had to watch it. Well, lets just say if you want to know what the world thinks and reacts to people who save themselves, or are virgins, well this is a great movie to depict it.  I love the character Christian Kane plays.  He was the best actor by far in this movie.  The character Estella Warren played, was just a little too indecisive for a real person especially in this type of role.  So if you want a funny, not very realistic movie, with poor acting, and a typical plot this is a good girl's night movie.  My husband did watch this but he hated it (I say this because he loves romantic comedies, so for him to hate something is huge).  I cannot recommend this to be bought, but a one time watch on Netflix is good.

Yeast Infection Tips

If your baby has a yeast infection in the diaper area, or if a woman or man has a yeast infection in the genital area, or thrush here is a great way to kill it quickly, safely, and naturally.

What you need:
fresh garlic
olive oil
glass bowl with lid


For Yeast Infection:
Get a fresh garlic clove, and mince it all up into a small glass bowl (this bowl needs a lid), now mix in enough olive oil to cover up all the garlic.  Let sit in the covered bowl for 3 days.  Now apply with cotton balls on a baby or toddler to their diaper area, pat it on, don't rub it on.  Apply with a wash rag or cotton balls to adults as well.



For Thrush:
If you have thrush cut garlic cloves open and put the freshly cut side on your tongue for 30 seconds.  Do this up to 6 times a day (2 in the morning, 2 around noon, and 2 at night).  For children its harder to get them to leave a garlic piece on their tongue, so you can follow the instructions for the garlic olive oil and use a dropper to put a few drops in their mouth up to 6 times a day.

I have tried both of these tips on my self, my husband and my baby when we had yeast infections, and my baby had thrush.  After suffering with a yeast infection for 2 weeks and nothing in the store was working I tried this and it was gone in 3 days.  My baby had thrush for 3 days and it was gone after using this in 2 days.  My husband has had yeast infections from poor diet, and dirty work out clothes, and has killed those in just a few days.  There are other things to try, but this is all natural, and it has worked for everyone I've told.

Information:  I have seen this in stores for years before I figured out what it is.  This is the most amazing discovery I've found for women in the past 2 years.  So I've been using this for 2 years now, and love it!  My favorite scent is Morning Paradise, but there are 2-3 other scents too.  This stuff lasts a long time, and you only need a little bit to go a long way.  I use this most during my menstruation cycle week, and any time my husband and I have fun.  This is a great product to get off lubrication, without being irritated.  If you have a yeast infection this is a great cleanser that helps kill the yeast quickly, stop the itching, and get rid of any odors if you use my yeast infection tip.  The best place to buy this product is Amazon.com, but if you don't like buying things online, Target has it, and usually you can find it on sale too.

Failure to Launch

Details: Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Sarah Jessica Parker, Bradley Cooper, Zooey Deschanel, Kathy Bates, Justin Bartha, and Terry Bradshaw.  This is a 2006 movie, rated PG-13 for some language, partial nudity and some sexual content.  3 late 30's guys still living at home have their worlds rocked when their parents bring in the little push who guarantee's her success at getting their guys out on their own.  These guys are so thick together as friends this "special needs" teacher is up for the ride of her life, as she battles the wits of nature, and the charm of 3 handsome men.  This is a light, breezy romantic comedy you don't want to miss!

Information:  I love the actors in this movie, if you didn't love any or all of the characters, you will by the time this movie is over.  See the funny ways nature tells these guys that living in their parent's home isn't natural at all.  My husband and I love romantic comedies, and this is in our top 5 favorites.  The plot is new, the actors are at their best in this movie, and the wits and tricks, make the laughs non stop!  You will want to buy this, because its a movie you'll watch over and over again.  Romantic comedies usually have the same type of plot, but this story line is refreshingly new, fun, and brings people together of all ages.  T

Healthy Snack
