Blueberry Lemonade Recipe

Last night I had a group of friends over and served them Blueberry Lemonade.  It was gone in no time flat.  This is a crowd of people that are hooked on Coke and Pepsi.  I was so impressed they liked my Blueberry Lemonade so much.  Out of all the different flavored lemonades I have made, this is by the far the most popular.
Make or purchase 1 gallon of your favorite lemonade.  Personally I don't mind the powdered mixes, but truth be told I think the frozen concentrate is the best ever.
Next remove 1 quart of lemonade and place in another container for later, or drink it up now.
You will need to purchase a 64 oz. container of Blueberry/Cranberry Juice NO sugar added.  Ocean Spray and Northland carries that.
Add 1/2 container of the Blueberry/Cranberry Juice to your 3/4 gallon of lemonade.  Add ice if desired.  It's always desired by me.
Stir, blend, and pour yourself a big tall glass.  You might want to get fancy and add fresh or frozen blueberries in each cup, and place a slice of lemon on the cup.  Either way, it's going to taste great.
Make it up, taste it, serve it, and let me know what you think.  Enjoy!

Lemon Balm Lemonade Recipe

I've grown lemon balm for years, and with my last move forgot to take some with me.  While visiting my son a week ago, I grabbed several leaves from his plants and made Lemon Balm Lemonade. It adds a nice additional lemon flavor that I like.
Ingredients:
4 lemons, juiced  (I used the equivalent in lemon concentrate.)
1/2 cup fresh lemon balm leaves
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup boiling water
2 1/2 cups water
Directions:
Boil 2/3 cup water and sugar together either on the stove, or in the microwave until sugar is dissolved.  Add the lemon balm leaves and slightly crush.  Let stand at least 15 minutes.  Remove the leaves.  Add the lemon juice and 2 1/2 cups water.  Serve with ice, or refrigerate until cold.

Hot Raspberry Lemonade Recipe

Hot Raspberry Lemonade
Hot Raspberry Lemonade
Raspberries are one of my favorite fruits and a hot raspberry lemonade sounds delicious. I haven't personally tried this recipe, but I'm thinking when I do, I'll make some changes.  First off, I'll mix up regular lemonade, either from a powered mix, or frozen.  Then I'll add flavored raspberry powdered drink mix (like Kool-aid) or powdered raspberry Jello.  I will not dilute the raspberry powdered drink mix nor the Jello.  Just add the powdered mix to the diluted lemonade mix till I like the flavor.  Then, I'll heat it up.  This sounds delicious for the month of February.

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups powdered lemonade mix with sugar
1 carton (1.3 ounces) raspberry soft drink mix (May want to try Crystal Light)
Directions:
Mix above ingredients together and store in airtight container. Mix 1 tablespoon mix (or to taste) with 1 cup boiling water.

UPDATE:  I did make this recipe using raspberry powered drink mix (like Kool-aid).  I added the entire package, just the powder, to a frozen can of lemonade reconstituted.  This is delicious either hot or cold.

Hot Lemonade Recipe

I like lemonade.  Hot. Cold, Flavored. Lemonade is the favored drink of my hubby's when we go out to eat, or on special occasions at home.  We have tried and created new lemonade flavors over the years.  I'll be sharing those recipes on this blog.

Here is one of my favorites for the cold winter months. My husband always requests this when he isn't feeling very well.  It helps him get better very quickly.
