Review:  I have heard of great things regarding shea butter over the years.  I've never had an opportunity to try it before.  Mainly because it was difficult to find when I first heard about it, and I had other favorites I was using when it became more well known.  So I jumped at the chance to try this product.

To tell you the truth, I was surprised at what I got.  I didn't know what to expect though.  It came in a 1 pound container, which should last a year.  Yes!  When I opened it up, the first thing I noticed was the smell.  Not real bad, but it had to grow on me.  I immediately tried it out, and was impressed at how fast my skin really did absorb this thick shortening type product.  It wasn't greasy/oily which I also liked.  My feet had just had a rough workout.  When I wear socks my feet dry and crack.  It took 2 applications and my feet felt so much better.  I applied it to my hands and arms, feet and legs, and face.  I really thought this was a great product, other than the smell.

Shea butter is supposed to be good for cuticles.  Well, my cuticles are developing a lot of hang nails right now.  The shea butter is helping those.  I'm anxious to have my grandson try this on his eczema and see if it helps him.  I have not tried it on my lips, which have been slightly chapped lately.  Personally, I still have an issue with the smell.  I'm seriously considering adding some essential oils to it.

Someday I hope to be able to make my own lotions and soaps.  I plan to use this shae butter for those products.  I like how soft my skin feels after using this.  I generally apply at night, go to bed, and my skin feels softer in the morning.  I have yet to try this on my hair.  Still trying to figure out the best way to use it.  Did read you shouldn't use it straight on dry hair.  There should be moisture on the hair.  Also, should be combined with other natural oils for best application.

Pros:  Love how immediately the shae butter is absorbed into my skin, and how much softer my skin feels after application.

Cons:  Dislike the smell.

My Rating:  Thumbs Up for how well it performs, but Thumbs Down for smell.

Review:  I've tried a variety of anti-aging products that are really nice.  I must say that while I've really liked the ones I've tried, Vitamin C Serum (as long as it has at least 20% Vitamin C) is more in my budget.  And to think that by the end of 6 months time of daily use I will have received maximum benefits.

The serum will not wash off, but does last approximately 72 hours on the skin.  It only needs to be applied once a day, but can be used twice a day.  Wash your face, apply the Vitamin C Serum, wait a few minutes before applying additional moisturizers.  You may find your face will initially feel dry.  You will know it is working.  It is working even if you don't experience dry skin.

After about 1 week of using this, I've noticed my skin getting lighter...bye bye tanned face.  Not to worry, wrinkle free is much better.  After 2 weeks, I've noticed more outbreaks on my face as I feel the serum is pulling out the infirmities in my skin.  After almost 3 weeks I've seen a difference in the fine lines disappearing. I can't wait to see the results after 6 months.  The greatest improvement so far is the softness of my skin.  It is considerably softer without using any additional lotions or potions.  Very nice.

I was concerned that this bottle would not go very far.  It comes with a dropper, and for my face, neck and hands, I use about 5 drops a day.  This will last a long time.  The drops go a long ways.  La Beaute Pure has other ingredients in their Vitamin C Serum that are all very beneficial to the skin.  They are Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, Gota Kola, Witch Hazel & Dandelion.

The Vitamin C Serum comes in a dark amber bottle, with a dropper.  This helps keep the product protected from light.  Since it is a glass bottle, they securely wrap it to keep it protected until it reaches you.

This also comes with the e-book Anti-Aging Naturally.  This book is filled with all kinds of things each and every one of us can do starting today to keep us looking and feeling young. 

Pros: Great product that works.  It goes a long ways.  More in my budget.

Cons:  Nothing.

Collagen To Help Strengthen Nails, Hair

Details: NeoCell is a wonderful website filled with natural nutritional supplements to benefit the hair, skin and nails.  Their products contain collagen which begins to decline in our bodies at an early age.  Their products contain Collagen 1, 2, & 3.  There is a difference between these.  From NeoCell's website, it states,

The protein composition consists of nineteen amino acids responsible for the growth and maintenance of the body with unusually high percentages of glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, which are all found in the skin and muscle. Review:  I was able to review 2 products from NeoCell.  The product I chose for myself was the Collagen Type 1&3.  This is specifically  to replenish the body's diminishing supply of collagen.  In turn this will help minimize fine lines and wrinkles, improve elasticity in the skin, help bones become stronger, corrects weak, broken and split ends of hair, helps damaged nail beds, helps thicken fine hair, improves circulation, promotes wound healing, and helps build lean muscle to help burn fat while you sleep.  Wow!  What more could you ask for in just 6 tablets a day.

Before I started taking this, I had two split fingernails, damaged hair, fine lines, and in desperate need for improved circulation and who wouldn't want to burn fat while sleeping.  Three weeks into the routine of taking these tablets, my split fingernails finally stopped splitting, my hair appeared thicker (no I didn't change shampoos or conditioners), and I am losing weight.  My face seems more plump - not fat, just fewer wrinkles and the lines around my eyes are diminishing.  I feel my face has more elasticity.  This stuff is great.  I only take the tablets 5 days a week, so I'm not real consistent in taking them 7 days a week, and still I've noticed great improvement.  I still have a ways to go, but I can say this is working.  This is a product I will keep using.

Cons:  The tablets are a little dry, no slick coating, and only sometimes do they get stuck in my throat, to where I have to eat something to get them down.  But this is normal for me, maybe not you.
