Organix hair products: revised

Details: Organix beauty pure and simple: Pomegranate green tea shampoo.  This revitalizes your senses with sensual and exotic antioxidant rich organic pomegranate extracts and green tea which target dry brittle hair while awakening follicles to create a clean and rejuvenation experience.  These also give your hair a brilliant shine.  13 fl oz.  Reduce, reuse, recycle the containers.  This is a GREEN product, with  organic ingredients and GREEN processes to make and print and fill the bottles.  Distributed by Vogue International.  Loads of different types of Organixs.

My Review: I bought these on a BOGO at K-Mart, but have seen them at Wal-Mart, Target, Rite Aid, and Wall Greens.  I bought the Pomegranate shampoo, and the teatree mint conditioner.  My hopes were high on this stuff since it says its Green, and organic.  But after using this for 6 months my hair is in the worst condition it has ever been, including worse than the 5 years I lived, smelled and sweated chlorine because I was a life guard year round.  My hair is limp, filled with split ends, my scalp is peeling (different than dandruff), and my hair is falling out like when I was pregnant and had given birth.

Pros: smells good, no damage within the first month of use, my husband loves this stuff though

Cons: ruins hair after using for 3 months or longer

When I first did this review I had used it for 2 months, but after using it for a longer time I am seeing the damage one of our viewers warned me of.  I'm glad that I kept using so I could experience what this stuff really does to your hair.

  3. I despise this product as one of the most green washed products out there. There are still so many nasties in their shampoos it makes me wonder how they can actually elude to being organic at all!!

  4. Jacqueline,
I'm still new at finding out what the crazy sounding and looking codes and names for stuff is. How did you learn this? This would be something my team really needs to learn to give better reviews.
    Thanks

  5. Maybe you are using a shampoo and conditioner that is not for your type of hair. Somebody gave me organix shampoo that is for my type of hair and it works.
