Pros: I bought the 100 piece cough drops, great taste, long lasting effect, immediately takes action against sore or even dry throats.
Cons: funny after taste if you suck on one all night: the after taste goes away with water, or eating something, or brushing of one's teeth.
Would I recommend this: yes, definitely!

Extra Tips: I have done lots of research and have spoken to Herbalists, and what I have found out is that there are many different types of home remedies for sore throats, horse voice, dry throats.
My first tip is to use honey lemon water for horse voices, and sore throats.  See recipe below.
My second tip is to use hot milk and honey for dry throats, and itchy throats.
My third tip is to eat a little bit of dark chocolate for itchy throats, and coughs.  I have tried all my tips multiple times, and am very pleased with the results each time the issue is resolved.  My chocolate tip must be just dark chocolate, like Hershey bars, or Dove pieces.  No candy coat, or extras like peanut butter, or caramel. I heard that tip on the radio.

Recipes:
Honey Lemon water: get a tall glass cup of water, pour in about 1-2 tbs of lemon juice (get one with very little sugar), then add 2-3 tbs of honey (doesn't really matter what type), heat in microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes or until very warm in temperature.  Stir so the honey melts and mixes with the lemon and water.  Drink before it gets cold other wise it tastes gross.
Milk and Honey: get a mug and fill with 2% milk (you need something a little thicker in substance, and add 2-3 tbs of honey.  Heat in microwave for 1-2 minutes.  Drink while warm.
